View The Demonstration Video To See How Easy It Is To Upload A Waveform
Overview
With GradientOne, users can upload waveforms for storage and analysis using our instrument automation features as shown in this example. You can also upload waveforms manually by selecting a file on your local computer and following a process similar to the steps associated with uploading photos and files on other internet websites.

Waveform and File Format
You can upload files in excel *.xlsx or comma separated values *.csv formats.
The first line of the waveform file should include header information of Time and Channels, separated by commas. The Channels header should simply be a string description of the channel name. The following are accepted "Ch1", "Chan1", "CH1", "Ch2", "Chan2", "CH2".
The subsequent lines should include the times and voltages, separated by commas.
See below for an example:

- Time - floats, integers, or scientific notation
- Voltages - floats, integers, or scientific notation

Upload Steps
The first step in the upload process is to go to the Uploads page (Fig. 1). There are three options, Waveform Result, Multiple Results, Generic File. For waveforms, select "Waveform Result".

GradientOne subsequently presents a preview of the file (Fig.3). The user can also enter a configuration name for the result. This is typically associated with the test configuration/setup. This will be helpful later for search and filtering of results.

Next, click "Confirm Upload" and you will see a confirmation message (Fig. 4). If you want to view the result stored and plotted, click on 'this result' to be taken to the waveform (Fig. 5).
